Biosecurity
Pāmu is dedicated to upholding top-tier biosecurity standards to safeguard our farms, environment, and communities. Through training, all those who work on farm are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to mitigate risks effectively.
Each farm have biosecurity and response plans in place so prompt action can be taken when a threat arises. We enforce strict controls, including biosecurity inductions for visitors and boot wash facilities, to minimise contamination risks.
We also comply with the National Animal Identification and Tracing (NAIT) scheme, highlighting our commitment to traceability. Continuous monitoring and improvement initiatives ensure our biosecurity practices remain cutting-edge. Our environmental policies, aligned with regulations, underscore our dedication to responsible stewardship. We remain committed to delivering quality products while prioritising the health of our people, animals and planet.
